8 March Women’s Day in Turkey
Turkey on March 8, International Women’s Day for the first time in 1921. “Working Women’s Day“ has been celebrated as. In 1975 it was more widely celebrated and moved to the street. After the military coup of September 12, 1980, there was no celebration for four years. Every year since 1984, various women’s organizations have begun celebrating “International Women’s Day”.
Kastamonu rally of Turkish women in the struggle for the liberation of the nation, 10 December 1919 more than three thousand women of Kastamonu; the invasion of our country and the violence against women and children.
